OUR GOAL
Starting from 2015, we'll be studying nearly 1000 volunteers using population-based sampling techniques. We want to know what are the components that make us resistant to internal and external aggressors of the key determinant of human identity: our minds.
Our ProJECTS
We have established a comprehensive approach to better understand current concepts and, even, suggest possible additional insights on Brain Cognitive Reserve through 18 Research Projects
What We've Achieved (So FAR...)
- Engaging five major academic institutions in the state of São Paulo.
- Collaboration with four of world most recognized research institutions.
- Mastering logistics for collecting brain images in a large scale GWAS study in Brazil.
- Engaging young and experienced scientists toward one goal: understand brain cognitive reserve - and test the current theoretical concepts
- Value past experience and our local resources.
- Mobilization of the team using state of the art project management techniques.
